I have been involved with Middleburg Heights community organizations. For 16 years I was a Trustee (Secretary, Treasurer and Vice-Chairman) at Southwest General Hospital. I am a past president and current trustee of the Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce and was twice awarded Business Person of the Year.From 1976 to 1992 I was in a solo practice of law. I formed the law firm of Phillips & Mille in 1992 with Nicholas Phillips (who is also a retired Air Force Reserve JAG Colonel). I am dual board certified in Elder Law by the National Elder Law Foundation and the Ohio State Bar Association. The firm offers legal services for: Medicaid and estate planning, probate, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, asset protection, guardianships, personal injury, medical negligence, wrongful death, family law matters, divorce, dissolution, child support, real estate, small business corporate or LLC issues and formation, general litigation, FAA pilot issues, and minor criminal matters.
Graduated from Capital University and Capital University Law School. Active duty Air Force from 1972-76 and Air Force Reserves until 1999. Retired from Air Force as the Senior Mobilization Assistant to the Staff Judge Advocate for Air Force Education Command in 1999 as a Colonel and was awarded the Legion of Merit.
