At Southern Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located 1/2 mile from Southwest General Hospital and 5 miles from Fairview Hospital, we offer a full calendar of activities that includes outings, recreation, crafts, and religious services. And there is always ample time for making friends, reading, or just talking over old times. This approach helps each of our residents participate in life to the fullest extent possible.We are dedicated to meeting a wide range of personal and medical needs with care and compassion. That level of concern is reflected everywhere, from the attractive surroundings to the way we get to know and respect the needs of each and every resident and patient. We take pride in offering the little extras that mean so much and make life pleasant.
A Focus on Family Needs
We believe that each resident’s family is as much a part of that person’s care team as the doctors, nurses, and other specialists on our staff. That is why family members are an integral part of our care-planning process.
We know that family members who have just placed a member in a residential facility have special needs too. To help them cope, we offer support meetings, pre-admission interviews, and personal meetings with administrative staff.
Families are welcomed and encouraged to attend social functions, or just stop in and visit. We consider you an important part of the fabric of life here.
