Plans have begun to put together the community guide for early 2021.  This guide will be in line with the City’s theme of moving forward, but also focused on getting back to business.  We will have more details on this in the months to come.  Now more than ever it is imperative that we lift one another up in our business community.  There has not been one business owner I have spoken to over the last two months who has not felt the impact of this pandemic.

In our monthly newsletter we will begin publishing members’ accounts of what business has been like throughout the pandemic, as well as how they have and continue to cope. While this will help to reinforce that we are all impacted by this, it will also give exposure to your business and how it is handling operating in this new environment.  Please keep submissions to fewer than 500 words and email them directly to me or  to Kristin Ellis at assistant@middleburgheightschamber.org.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

The City of Middleburg Heights is also doing a great job of not only providing exciting news with regards to the redevelopment of Southland, but also by offering community events that can be safely enjoyed by families.  This Saturday’s Fair Food Drive-Thru event is one such example.  Although many fairs and festivals have been canceled this year, we hope you take advantage of this opportunity to at least sample your favorite fair foods.

I hope to begin speaking with all of you in person once again in the near future and look forward to providing any assistance possible in the meanwhile.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
