Recreation Center
rec-center.gifThe Community Recreation Center provides a focal point for the city, anchoring the west end of the municipal campus (city hall, police and fire). The Center is adjacent to existing city-owned outdoor sports fields that were tied to the campus plan with a new gazebo/public pavilion near the fields.

A new Veterans Memorial was created in a park-like setting in front of the Recreation Center. The facility includes an indoor recreation pool, outdoor pool, two-court gymnasium, walk/jog track, fitness center, community hall, activity/event rooms, and a child care room. The Center is designed to enhance the quality of life for Middleburg Heights residents with a family-oriented, social gathering place, and indoor and outdoor sports programs.

Our school district, which serves the students in the communities of Berea, Brook Park, and Middleburg Heights, has a proud legacy of excellence that extends back more than 150 years. We take great pride in the tens of thousands of outstanding graduates who have gone on to make their marks and to make a real difference in our communities, our state, our nation, and our world.
