Lifeworks on The Biggest Loser |

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT!
Congratulations!
LifeWorks is excited about two of their members Jerry and Colleen appearing on NBC’s The Biggest Loser.
Jerry embarked on the Biggest Loser adventure with this daughter Coleen. They made up one of eight family teams that were trying to shed pounds and compete for the prize money. Jerry’s biggest realization, and hardest part, was recognizing that habits need to be changed and that takes commitment.
Jerry lost over 102 pounds. They both worked very hard to win the $100,000. Jerry and Coleen appeared as the yellow team and after a few weeks into the show they changed to individuals.
LifeWorks has a club wide goal of losing 2000 pounds. That is one ton. Jerry is the captain of one Losing Team and Coleen is the captain of another Losing Team. The LifeWorks Losing Team roster and information is on their web-site www.lifeworksfitness.net.
In December they will fly back to LA in preparation for the LIVE finale on Tuesday, December 16th. To add to the excitement, Wend, LifeWorks fitness coordinator and Karen Raisch-Siegel will be flying to LA to attend the show as their guests.

The State of Ohio, Cuyahoga County, and the City of Middleburg Heights maintain business development incentive programs which may benefit businesses. The City of Middleburg Heights has established two (2) Community Reinvestment Areas (CRA’s) for the purpose of encouraging commercial and industrial renovation or expansion and new construction. The CRA Program is an economic development funding program intended to help commercial property owners and businesses overcome barriers to investing in real property improvement or construction projects in Middleburg Heights. In addition, the City does offer a Job Creation Grant Program which could also be offered to businesses locating to Middleburg Heights. Representatives from the City of Middleburg Heights, Cuyahoga County, and the State of Ohio would welcome the opportunity to further discuss the advantages of these, and other, incentives based upon the merits of the proposed business development project. |
